Your Chevy II Nova uni-body structure is inherently weak. Our K-Auto Chassis isn't.

The canvas-metallic that your suspension components and engine are mounted to begins to flex dramatically one time you add more than horsepower, higher spring-rates and better brakes. With our G-Machine Chassis, your engine, rear-terminate, steering and interruption are isolated from the body. The G-Machine Chassis becomes the main back up for your machine and the uni-body structure but becomes added support, helping to tie together the G-Machine Chassis.

The G-Car Chassis is available for 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1966 & 1967:

  • Chevy Two
  • Nova

Installation is unproblematic.

  • You are not required to cut your flooring-pan
  • The but required cut is of minor brackets
  • The only required drilling is in the original rear frame track
  • Some welding required to your trunk in the rear

Desire wider tires?

  • Our 66-67 Chevy Two Thou-Machine Chassis allow fitment of upward to 335mm-wide rear tires if yous minitub the wheel wells (**SOME CARS Practice Not FIT THIS! 315 Will FIT FOR Certain)
    • 62-65 Chevy II's volition fit at least a 295 with minitub, mayhap wider depending on installation of minitubs.
  • The Moser full-floating 9" is narrowed to 54" hub-to-hub to allow a deeper dish on the rear wheels

Which options practise I cull?

Brakes:

-Our 13" Wilwood kit is great for daily drivers and the occasional autocrosser or road racer. These require at to the lowest degree a 17" diameter wheel, though some 16" fit.
-Stride up to the xiv-inch Baer 6P Pro-Plus and get a brake organisation that will adjust whatever you want to practise. We race our 1965 Storm oft with this brake setup.
-The baddest kit is the Baer 6S, which is a jumpsuit forged caliper. This restriction kit suits the hardcore roadracer, merely does not sacrifice street driving.
-The 14" brakes require a 18" diameter wheel, however. Additionally, the Baer calipers are available in many colors, while Wilwoods are bachelor only in blackness.

Coilover shocks:

Rear finish housing:

Our standard axle is a Moser full-floating ix" style housing, with 31-spline axles. We take tested this rear cease up to 1000hp street cars with no bug. Contact u.s. for higher HP, or if you lot'll be drag racing it often on slicks with over 800hp. The Schwartz IRS choice is for those craving an IRS in their musclecar. This is recommended for up to 700hp.

Third member/differential:

The Ford 9" comes with a clutch-type posi. Our beginning option is just that, with a cast-iron center section. If y'all have less than 500hp and won't be racing the car, this is just fine for you. The Detroit TrueTrac differential is a helical-gear type posi, which holds upwards to more ability than the clutch posi, lasts longer (no wearable parts), and is quiet enough for street cars. Currie offers a new nodular iron case which is recommended for 600+ hp and racing. Their Hard disk drive aluminum instance also holds upwards to higher horsepower than the cast unit, and is much lighter than iron cases.
